On the weekend, at the premier of The Killing$ of Tony Blair – George Gallowy, former British MP and producer-director of the film was joined by former London Mayor Ken Livingstone, and Tony Blair’s Muslim sister-in-law Lauren Booth. The movie, which cost little over two million dollars, is based on the political career of former British prime minister Tony Blair’s (1997-2007).
George Galloway called Tony Blair a mere symptom of the West’s wider malaise – an economic system run by and for the super-rich during his narration of the movie.
The movie exposes Tony Blair as one of the greatest ‘Merchants of Death’ of the last century as prime minister of United Kingdom and later as consultant to butchers who killed hundreds of thousands of Muslims in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Kosova, Bosnia, Somalia and the occupied Palestine.
